Wellington College Tianjin receives offer from Oxford University
Congratulations to year 13 pupil Eric who has won a place at Oxford university.
He will study Biochemistry at St Edmund Hall College. Eric has been at Wellington for nine years and during that time he has achieved outstanding IGCSE and A Level results, as well as contributing fully to the school’s academic societies, service commitments and sports’ provision. He genuinely embodies what it means to be a Wellingtonian and he has the best wishes of the entire Wellington College family as he moves on to this new challenge in the coming year. Wellington College Tianjin is the only school in Tianjin to receive an Oxford offer this year.
We still keenly await the results of the school’s other Oxbridge applicants. Eight year 13 pupils will get their results from Cambridge university by the end of January.
