CHARITY SLEEPOVER

21 Sep 2017
Friday 8th September saw our caring pupils community embody the Wellington values of kindness and responsibility, by giving up the comfort of their beds in order to raise money for the Jian Hua orphanage. 35 pupils from across the Senior School took part in a range of activities including a Scavenger Hunt, Chubby Bunnies and Dodge ball – all organised by staff who also kindly gave up their Friday evening for the event. We are proud to announce that we will donate 5012 RMB to this great cause. A number of pupils raised surprising amounts from very generous friends and family who sponsored them. We all learned a valuable lesson in how important it is to help those in need, and realised just how lucky we all are to have such comfortable and safe homes. A big thank you goes to the pupils who took part and the staff, friends and family who supported such a worthwhile cause. We all had lots of fun and we hope to have even more pupils join us next year!
