National recognition for Wellington College Tianjin
Kinglead, one of China’s leading educational resource and media platforms, recently published its 2022 list of the top 100 innovative international schools in China. Two international schools from the Wellington College China group were placed in the top 10, with Wellington College International Shanghai ranked 6th and the Tianjin school 9th. Both schools had a 4A rating, two of just seven schools to be awarded this level.

Kinglead’s ranking was calculated using a variety of data, including international certification and accreditation; faculty assessment, including qualifications and faculty - student ratios; social influence, assessed through parental feedback; and independent expert evaluation of a school’s innovative qualities.
In all, there were 12 schools from Beijing on the list, 18 from Shanghai and 10 from Guangzhou. Tianjin had two schools in the top 100.
